Gabrielle Juliano-Villani is an LCSW consultant, coach, entrepreneur, and educator based in Sarasota, Fl. She has been in the mental health field for over a decade specializing in stress, chronic health conditions, and trauma. After realizing her burnout in 2021, she sold her thriving group practice and made it her mission to educate others on the impact stress has on our everyday lives. Gabrielle pulls from her experience as an EMDR and Polyvagal Informed therapist to utilize mind/body approaches to help others implement everyday strategies to manage stress and live their best lives.

Day 1 Session 2C: Burnout Versus Morale Injury and Recovery in the Mental Health Field

Session Summary


In this session, participants will learn the difference between burnout, stress, compassion fatigue, and moral injury, as well as the role our values plays into our own stress management. Participants will be educated on Polyvagal Theory and how our nervous system holds stress and is responsible for our emotional regulation. We will map our nervous systems and learn tools to implement to manage emotional and stress responses for more psychological flexibility. This session is ideal for anyone who wants to learn more about the mind/body connection and the role it plays in our mental health and everyday lives.

ClinicianFest is a 503c organization.  Proceeds from ClinicianFest are used to fund the co-pays of those in need of mental health services but unable to afford such services in their entirety. We partner with over 216 vendors, agencies, private practitioners, and community support programs to support aid in communities with scarce mental healthcare access and resources. To date, we have assisted over 1100 clients in getting the care and aid they need on their journey.
