Dr. Arianne Jennings, LCPC, is a licensed mental health practitioner and public health consultant born and raised in Baltimore, MD. She is passionate about helping others reach their full potential by addressing their behavioral and social issues. Dr. Jennings loves working with professionals with anxiety, depression, burnout and undergoing various life transitions. She always envisioned being a change agent and knew from a little girl she felt purposed to help change her city. By connecting with the communities and stakeholders at large, it is her hope to inspire, educate and change the trajectory of the many lives she has touched.
She has spent her career supporting the people who give so much of themselves to others: therapists, high-performing professionals, leaders, educators, churches and organizations. Her mission is simple—to create spaces where everyone can breathe, reset, and thrive
The Weight We Carry: Addressing Compassion Fatigue in Helping Professionals
Helping professionals dedicate their careers to supporting others through crisis, trauma, loss, and recovery. While this work can be deeply meaningful, repeated exposure to the suffering of others can take a significant toll on emotional, physical, and psychological well-being. This training explores compassion fatigue through a trauma-informed lens, helping participants understand the cumulative impact of caregiving, recognize early warning signs of burnout and secondary traumatic stress, and develop sustainable strategies for resilience. Through reflection, discussion, and practical tools, attendees will learn how to care for others without losing themselves in the process and leave with actionable strategies to protect their well-being while continuing to serve effectively.
