Day 2 Session 4A - Walk the Talk: Spiritual Tools for Mental Health Professionals' Sustainability

This session is designed to take information off the pages and into our lives to support sustainability. Through using various spiritual tools, like incense, mindfulness, and ancestor acknowledgement before, during, or after sessions, mental health profressionals enhance their wellbeing. Through demystifying some spiritual tools, the enhanced ability to engage often and intentionally with restorative intervention can be realized. Cultural competence can also be increased through the exposure of spiritual tools used with or without a religious identification or affiliation.
