In this talk I share how I use trauma informed care when writing court reports to help people feel seen and understood. As a licensed social worker I have learned that telling someone’s full story not just the facts can help courts better understand what a person has been through. My goal is to show how these evaluations can lead to better outcomes and bring more care into systems that often feel cold or unfair. I want others to see how writing with compassion can make real change.
